The
story of two Israeli families from Givatayim and Be'er Sheva
who 12 years ago decided to begin a new life in Dugit - a
fishermen's village in the north of the Gaza strip. They learned
the ways of the sea and the skills of fishery from their Arab
neighbors, who soon became their partners. The film describes
the good years, the strong bond that developed with the Palestinians,
not only ideologically but also as a way of life. The renewed
Intifada began gnawing at that bond, eventually causing its
complete disintegration.
